Day 3: Rest and water at Punta Cana

Deliberately built as a recovery day. After a morning of off-road driving, a day of snorkeling, stand-up paddleboarding or simply floating gives your body a break before the Miches transfer. Miches sits north of the main hotel zone, and getting there is a genuine road trip, not a quick hop — budget a couple of hours each way rather than expecting a short shuttle. This is one of the two long transfer days in this itinerary, so plan for a full day rather than a half-day outing.

FAQ: adventure week from Punta Cana

Can this itinerary be done without an overnight stay outside Punta Cana?

Yes, but Day 4 and Day 6 become very long single days rather than two-day arcs. If you’d rather keep every night in your original hotel, expect early pickups and late returns on those two days, and consider dropping one of the Miches days to reduce fatigue.
